The Most Devastating Thing Ever!

The most devastating thing happeded in the journey of The Crystal Soul.

As a writer and how hard I had pushed to get my first draft done and ready for my editor. I had finished my book on May 7. This whole month had been a very busy for me. Due to everything that was going on. Connected with my editor and made arrangements to get the editing process going in June.

Explained to him that my baby sister got married on May 15 and that May 16 was going to be setting up for two events Retromania and Rocky Mountain Rep Rap Festival for my 3D Printing and Photography business. Between May 7th up to my sister’s wedding we had been preparing for the shows.

After everything wassaid and done. After the shows relaxed for a few days did my first blog about how close I was having the book done and getting ready for the editing process. As started up my Scrivener to double check my work before sending it over, I had found that out of all my 38 chapters, I was back to only having 18 chapters.

That was the most devastating part that I had ever experienced. All my hard work and working with my book groups for months all of the stuff that I had reworked on and improved. I had lost it all over a two month’s worth of work gone just like that. I remember that I had saved everything back on May 7, but everything that I did to look for it, I was not able to find it.

As I was in almost in tears, when my husband help me try to find my files. He was able to find a back up however that back up was missing parts here and there but had all 38 chapters. I felt heartbroken that all the work I did was gone just like that. Now I will have to figure out where to go and push back my October Release Date.
